I have to say my favorite part of summer is the Farmer’s Market.

I encourage everyone to find their local farmer market, or local farm.  Here is a link to Local Harvest.org to find the closest  Farmer Market .

I will be posting some of my simple recipes I create with my farmer’s market purchases this summer and fall.

Here are a few of my new digital painting I created. I  was inspired  walking through the flower markets  in Paris on a trip I took  last Spring.  The prints will be for sale in my shop July!

1.My new desk chair-  I am getting this chair for my birthday in a few weeks. I am really excited because I have been using  a dining room chair from Ikea  as a desk chair, and after about 30mins it become really uncomfortable.  So needless to say my creativity has gone down due to bad seating. So I am hoping this chair will  the answer to my problem. I am getting it in black,  I don’t dare get it in white, since white things never stay white too long in my home. I will post pictures of my work space in a few weeks.  Here is the link to the chair

2.  Library card- I have to say I really never used my library card for Boston Public library, mostly because the place was so huge and there are isolated parts that never really feel safe (Don’t get me wrong I love to sit in the old part of the library and just be amazed at the knowledge and the history the place holds).  Since I moved to Salem I got a library card and I am really excited.  I guess I will have to start reading more books.  One of the reason for getting a library card is to get access to New England historical information libraries, and since I have been working on my family tree it is useful to look up  extra information on them especially the ones from Salem and the Mayflower’s.

3.  Victoria Secrets Semi Annual Sale- mostly because I need new bra’s and underwear and a girl always love a sale.

4. Sex and the City 2  Movie- I havent seen it but I plan to and the previews look amazing. I am still in love with Sex and the City all these years later.

1.  My new favorite thing to make is cupcakes. I never really liked them until I got my own cupcake book and now I make everything from scratch and all organic. I bought these cupcake liners for my housewarming party next month from CupcakeSocial

2. Tofu- I recently have started eating Tofu again. I really love that it is a protein that can asorb any flavoring you want. My favorite is a veggie stir frywith tofu, where I usually mix fresh garlic and ginger with low sodium soy sauce.

3. Bok Choy- I decided to start trying new veggies, I had bok choy in chinese food before but never thought to actually cook it. So recently, I started making stir fry’s with cabbage and the bok choy and other veggies with whatever protein I prefer at the time.

4. Crate and Barrel catalog- The new catalog made me want to order like half of the items in it. Ok maybe not half but there were alot of items and I have added them to my inspiration board and I hopefully will have a few of them sometime soon.
