Starting a Handmade Shop Series (Intro)

Starting a handmade business, for me was just a hobby. I loved to create things, and friends and family seemed to want to have items that I had made. So naturally the idea came to selling online. I discovered Etsy by mistake one day while searching the net and the rest was history, so to speak.

I have been selling for two years now, off and on. I love to create, and sell handmade items and it is a dream of mine to bring VieiraGirl into a brand I can be proud of. I still want to keep my company small but I would like to expand my shop, and bring it as far as my imagination allows. So, I will be doing a series of posts here about things that work for me, and things that didn’t work for me. I want to share with my blog readers, how I started my handmade company, and how I plan to expand my business. I will try to share tips and resources to help anyone starting an online handmade business.

I will soon be starting a new feature every week where I will be interviewing a handmade artist. You must have an online shop and sell handmade items.

If you would like to be considered please send me an email with a link to your shop, and blog if you have one.
